The beSafeMoris website and application was primarily created to bring more awareness of COVID-19 and thus a safer Mauritius. It was developed by the Ministry of Health and Wellness, the Ministry of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation and the Mauritius Telecom. Real-time information is approved by the Ministry of Health and Wellness and includes news, vaccination programmes, and communiques. The site can be accessed HERE.
Founded in 1948, WHO (World Health Organisation) is the United Nations agency that promotes healthier lives. It leads global efforts to expand universal health coverage. It also direct and coordinate the world’s response to health emergencies.
